Pakistani Filmstar Sana Also Gets Bollywood Film

Vop 12th May: After Meera, Veena Malik and Ali Zafar stepping in Bollywood, Pakistani hot filmstar Sana Nawaz Khan has also signed her first Bollywood film “Dil Pardesi Hogya”.

Sana has flown to India for her Bollywood debut film “Dil Pardesi Hogya” in which she will be starring against famous Punjabi singer Inderjit Nikku in lead role with special appearance by Akshay Kumar and Sanjay Dutt.

Dil Pardesi Hogya is an Indian Punjabi movie directed by Thakur Tapasvi. The other cast of the film includes Shakti Kapoor, Daljit Kaur, and Raza Murad.

Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy Collaborates With Coca Cola For Next Documentaries

Famous Emmy and Oscar award-winning Pakistani documentary filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy has collaborated with Coca Cola for her next six-part documentary venture Ho Yaqeen.With her vision of bringing a change in Pakistan, Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy is working on her latest documentary series entitled Ho Yaqeen, for which her company SOC Films has done partnership with Coca-Cola.Ho Yaqeen is a six parts documentaries series which highlights the efforts of Pakistan’s real heroes who are striving to make a better Pakistan. These documentaries will be broadcasted across 16 TV channels in six months simultaneously. Pakistani Horror Film "Siyaah" To Be Relaesed

Vop 15th May: The emerging directors a Pakistan have geared up to release another horror film of Pakistan entitled "Siyaah" that is to be released soon.

"This fall, when you embrace darkness, remember this. You should have believed."

Pakistan’s horror film “Siyah” is a suspense horror film by IRK Films Studio directed by Azfar Jafri. Famous actor of film Slackistan, Osman Khalid Butt has written the film Siyah and also the screen play together with Azfar Jafri.

Star cast of the upcoming horror film Siyah includes Hareem Farooq, Qazi Jabbar, Mahnoor Usman, Ahmed Ali Akbar, Aslam Rana, Sofia Wanchoo Mir, Rizwana, Sarwar Salimi, and Amy Saleh. Film is produced by Imran Raza Kazmi and is the concept of Zahra Zaman Khan.

Juggan Kazim Says No To Pakistani Films

vop 8th May: Pakistan’s charming actress, model and host Juggan Kazim has decided to do no more work in Pakistani films during a recent interview.

Juggan Kazim, who allures viewers with her bubbly style and sparkling smile, has told that she will not work in Pakistani films anymore. Though Juggan Kazim has appeared in many Canadian films but her debut Pakistani film “Khamosh Raho” failed to impress her fans.

According to Juggun Kazim, she will work in those Pakistani films only that she had already signed. After that her much focus will be on dramas and hosting.

Juggan Kazim has also established her own production house and will concentrate on her own projects.

Shakira in trouble over music video

Singer Shakira is in trouble with Spanish authorities after dancing in a Barcelona fountain while filming a music video.The "Hips Don't Lie" hitmaker was joined by fans as she frolicked in the city's historic Pla de Palau fountain while filming a promo for her upcoming track, reports ecpress.co.uk.But the star failed to obtain a permit ahead of filming and now the city officials have slapped the Colombian star with a fine. Her actions were deemed a violation of strict anti-social behaviour laws.

According to me Salman is ahead of me.

In the manner in which his film Bodyguard has got an opening, it has broken all records and today according to me, if there is anyone who is the number one box office star, then that is Salman," said Aamir.

"He has proved with this film that he is ahead of all of us. I am very happy that his film is doing well. My good wishes are with him," Aamir told reporters here at the music launch of the film Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster," he added.

"Few days back I even had a chat with him on phone because he is in America. I'm glad that his health is also much better now. Infact I was the one who gave him the good news of the massive opening box collections of Bodyguard," said Aamir.

"I had texted his sister Alvira and I had told her that when Salman comes out of his surgery then show him my text first. I wanted to be the first one to give him this great news," he added.

When asked from the 46-year-old actor that since he shares such a great camaraderie with Salman, would he like to work with him again in a film, Aamir responded with a yes.

"I would love to work with Salman. We have a great tuning so if we work together, it will be great fun. But till the time we don't get a good script, a script that excites both of us, we can't work together," said Aamir, who has shared screen space with Salman in the past in the film Andaz Apna Apna.

Salman to work in ‘Dookudu’ remake?

When Diwali is around the corner it’s obvious to have Bollywood`s big projects waiting to hit the theatres. But one film from the South industry is already creating a buzz in India and abroad. Actor Mahesh Babu`s Telugu film ‘Dookudu’ has already been declared as a smash hit in its first week itself.

Apparently looking at its success, the Salman Khan camp is already eyeing the idea of its remake in Hindi soon.

‘Dookudu’ has minted a whooping Rs. 30 crore so far. It has banked a tremendous sum of 82,000 dollars at a multiplex in Virginia, the only film to surpass its collections is Brad Pitt’s ‘Moneyball’.

As reported by a daily, Kona Venkat, who worked on ‘Ready’ in Telugu and Hindi, and is also associated with Anees Bazmee`s ‘No Entry’ sequel and Sohail Khan`s ‘Sher Khan’, confirms the same. "Sreenu, who directed ‘Ready’ in Telugu, is keen to remake Dookudu in Hindi with Salmanbhai.

In fact, the lead character`s heroism suits Salman bhai perfectly. We won`t need to make alterations for the Hindi version," he said.

He added that their entire team was aware that the ‘Dabangg’ star would do the remake.

"Even Mahesh Babu said that Salman bhai would be the best actor for the Hindi version," he further revealed.

Though the Telugu version of ‘Dookudu’ cost filmmakers a total of 35 crores to make, the estimated budget for the hindi version of the film with the ‘Bodyguard’ star has been pegged at 60 crores.

However the problem is that the lead protagonist in the Telugu film is a cop and Salman is not keen on another cop role at the moment.

"Salman bhai isn`t keen on another policeman role before the Dabangg sequel," explained Venkat.

He said he is waiting for the actor, currently in Mumbai, to take a call after watching ‘Dookudu’. He further states that if the producer and director decide to wait till ‘Dabangg 2’ is ready, then there should be no reason for Salman to decline the movie.

Ever since Mahesh Babu`s film released, Bollywood producers and actors are vying for the remake rights, which is believed to be over Rs 3 crore. But till Salman makes up his mind, everything on the remake has been put on hold.
